Rather than just asking various entertainers to entertain, Bartlett’s takes a much more inter-active and holistic approach to activities. We aim to give one-to-one stimulation to each of our residents in many different ways including:

• Art, drawing and painting

• Knitting and other crafts

• Creative arts such as model making, decorating cards and Easter bonnets

• Flower arranging and table decorations for the home

• Scrabble and card games, puzzles and word games

• Reminiscence therapy

• Visits to theatres, local shops and pubs as well as stately homes and other places of interest.

• Cookery, some of our residents made the mince pies for Christmas

• Croquet on the lawn

We also have a visiting IT teacher who instructs one resident in computer skills and a lecture each month given by the WEA.

We always love a sing-song so we do invite our favourite performers along to amuse and entertain.
